What Does a RCCFDC Board Director Do?
As a Board Director, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and governance.
- Ensure the organization’s financial health and sustainability.
- Advocate for our mission and represent the organization in the community.
- Participate in quarterly board meetings and serve on committees as needed.
Who We Are Looking For: Board Director Qualifications
We are currently seeking individuals with:
- A strong commitment to our mission and values.
- Experience in lending and/or finance
- Geographic representation in the following areas: Renfrew, Arnprior, Deep River or Northwest area, South area (Admaston Bromley, Greater Madawaska, Bonnechere Valley, Madawaska Valley, Brudenell, Lyndoch, Raglan)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous board experience (preferred but not required).
- The ability to commit to a three-year term as a Director and attend, at a minimum, quarterly board meetings. Special meetings are called as needed, and committee meetings are held on a regular as-needed basis. Standing committees of the Board of Directors include: the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Community & Strategic Planning Committee, and the Governance & Nominations Committee. Ad hoc committees may be struck as needed.
