Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation (RCCFDC)
RCCFDC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Community Development Officer to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role will be responsible for community economic development initiatives, including grant applications, marketing, special program delivery, and bilingual programming.
As a Community Development Officer, you will focus on high-value collaborations, bringing a strategic mindset and innovative ideas. This role is crucial in helping businesses and organizations flourish within our vibrant community.
About Us
RCCFDC is a bilingual, provincially incorporated non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We foster entrepreneurship and drive economic growth across Renfrew County. Our work is funded through FedDev Ontario as part of the Community Futures Program, where we create local solutions and invest in community and entrepreneurial initiatives tailored to the unique challenges of our local economy.
Our organization serves Renfrew County, including the City of Pembroke and the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan, with offices in Pembroke and Renfrew. The Community Development Officer primarily works out of the Renfrew office, with a hybrid schedule: two days in-office and two days remote.

Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business/commerce, economic development, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in community or economic development, ideally within the non-profit sector
- Economic Development designation (asset)
- Experience with budgeting, project management, grant writing, KPI monitoring, and public speaking
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially in working with Board Directors, funders, partners, and the general public
- Bilingual competence (English/French) is desirable
- Ability to travel as needed
Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: $66,871 – $76,876
- Compressed 4-day workweek with 2 days of remote work
