NEW OTTAWA VALLEY BUSINESS HIVE

RENFREW ON – The Town of Renfrew has announced that a new Ottawa Valley Business Hive is planned for Renfrew Town Hall. This new Hive will be home to several key organizations serving the business community, including Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation (RCCFDC), the Renfrew & Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Renfrew BIA.

“The Town of Renfrew is committed to growth as well as business retention and expansion. We are very happy to announce the new Ottawa Valley Business Hive to be located right here in Renfrew at Town Hall. This wonderful initiative brings together our strategic partners under one roof to collaborate and synergize. On behalf of the Council, I’m happy to welcome these key business resources to Town Hall. We look forward to continuing to grow our new dedicated business space, and making the space available to small businesses”, said Renfrew Mayor Tom Sidney.

Community Futures is pleased to announce that the organization is relocating out of its current office located at 450 O’Brien Road, Renfrew, Suite 205 and opening two main street offices, in both the Town of Renfrew and the City of Pembroke.

The move stems from the demand for a hybrid work model with office space located closer to the main street business, increasing accessibility to clients. In addition to the new Ottawa Valley Business Hive at Renfrew Town Hall, RCCFDC will also have an office in the Pembroke Business Centre, 224 Pembroke Street West.

“Service excellence is a priority for Community Futures, and having a main street presence in two of our urban centres will increase not only our visibility but more importantly our accessibility for our clients”, notes Ray Bonenberg, Chair of the Board of Director for RCCFDC.

The Renfrew CFDC location will be open Mondays and Wednesdays, and the Pembroke location open Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8. AM-5 PM.

“We look forward to this next new exciting chapter in our organization, to working closely with our partners in business development, and to welcoming our employees, clients and partners to our new locations.” – Cyndy Phillips, Executive Director, RCCFDC
